The corporation (FIRAS) includes three categories of members, namely: certified members, associate members and affiliated members.

CERTIFIED MEMBERS
Is certified by FIRAS any corporation, company or legal person interested in the corporation’s goals and activities who agrees to comply with the following standards of acceptance:
- Is active in the disaster recovery (restoration) industry.
- Has a place of business in the province of Québec.
- Disaster recovery (restoration) is one of its main business activities.
- Is an IICRC certified company (www.iicrc.org), or is in the process of obtaining certification in at least two of the following areas of business: Water damage restoration technician (WRT), Fire and Smoke Damage Restoration Technician, (FSRT), Odor Control Technician (OCT) and Applied Microbial Remediation Technician (AMRT).
ASSOCIATE MEMBERS
Is an associate member of FIRAS any corporation, company or legal person interested in the corporation’s goals and activities who agrees to comply with the following standards of acceptance:
- Is active in the disaster recovery (restoration) industry.
- Has a place of business in the province of Québec.
- Disaster recovery (restoration) is part of the company’s activities.
AFFILIATED MEMBERS
Is an affiliated member of FIRAS, any corporation, company or legal person interested in FIRAS goals and activities and whose interest lies in promoting the industry as well as FIRAS.
Affiliated members can take part in FIRAS activities and member meetings, but they have no voting rights during these meetings.
