A total of nine (9) members constitute the FIRAS board of directors, seven (7) representatives from certified members, one (1) representative from associate members and one (1) representative from affiliated members. The representatives are elected for a two (2) year period.

The President has to come obligatory from certified members to assume his role at FIRAS.
